The protesters are the same group that destroyed the M25 last week.

The group, a derivative of the extinction rebellion, requires the UK to pledge to fund insulation in all of the UK’s social housings by 2025. By 2030.
A group spokesman said: “We’re blocking Dover this morning to highlight that fuel poverty is killing people across Dover and across the UK.”
“We need a Churchillian response. We need to tell the truth about the urgent fears of a climate emergency.”
“Changing at the speed and scale required requires economic disruption. We hope that isn’t true, but that’s true. That’s what the 2000 fuel protests make a U-turn with policy. That’s why he gave (Tony) Blair his biggest challenge as prime minister.”
The UK government has told authorities to seek an injunction against the group after its attitude towards the M25.
