Hello Fresh will expand its services as demand surge amid the pandemic.
The company delivered 162 million meals in the third quarter. This was an increase of 135.1% over the same period in 2019.
The number of active customers in 2020 almost doubled from 2.61 million to 5 million, with revenue rising 120% to 970 million euros.
Hello Fresh has increased its expected revenue growth from 75-95% to 95-105%.
“We are pleased to announce that we are a great opportunity to help you,” said Laurent Guillemain, UK CEO.
“Despite the challenging sales environment, we have managed to further innovate and grow our product range and improve our service levels.
In August, Hello Fresh revealed plans to open a new production facility in Nuneaton, UK. Both create approximately 1,400 jobs.
Nigel Dolan, development director at Goodman, was then the development director of Goodman, where the site is located, and said, “We are proud to welcome Hellofresh to the development of Nuneaton 230. Its innovative business model is pioneered in both healthy home cooking and subscription services revolutions, and we are pleased to support the growth of UK production and fulfillment networks.”
