Octopus Renewables gets 59MW Polish onshore wind

Octopus Renewables expanded its Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust portfolio with the acquisition of wind assets in Poland.

The octopus secured Kurzesin and Kurzesin wind farms from the PNE group. The PNE Group will continue to provide construction services to assets with a total capacity of 59MW.

The acquisition is the second polish addition to the octopus portfolio, meaning that its assets can provide renewable electricity to 195,000 Polish homes.

Chris Gaydon, Investment Director at Octopus Renewables, said:

“We are pleased to complete this acquisition and build strong relationships with experienced developers. These projects are expected to see significant growth in renewable capabilities over the next few years. It benefits from the attractive government-supported fixed revenues.”
