Cruise operator Saga says all customers traveling this summer must be vaccinated.
Travel agencies in their 50s and older have seen a surge in bookings since vaccines began rolling out. This group must get both shots of the vaccine at least 14 days before the trip and provide a negative covid test upon departure.
“Because customer health and safety has always been SAGA’s number one priority, we have decided to require everyone to travel to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19,” said Saga’s spokesperson. The person said. “Our customers want the vaccine’s security and want to know other people traveling with them.”

The group delayed the tour until May 4th. Saga voted for 2,000 customers, of which 98% were in favor of the move. The UK government says that more than 70 people in the UK have been vaccinated by mid-February.
The move comes when the global airline organization IATA appeals to the government to allow governments to travel freely. Alexandre de Jniac, director, said, “For travel and tourism, testing is an immediate solution to reopen the boundaries, and will eventually move towards vaccine requirements.”
For the past six months, SAGA has lost over 50% in stock prices. In the six months leading up to the end of July 2020, the group fell from a profit of £52.6 million to a loss of £55 million.
