Nathan Anderson, the short-selling activist known for his campaigns against Adani Group, Super Micro and Nikola, is shutting down his company, Hindenburg Research, seven years after it was founded.
“The plan was to close after we completed the pipeline of ideas we were working on,” Anderson said in a statement. He described the work as “pretty intense and all-encompassing at times.”
Hindenburg’s research led to fraud charges and indictments against dozens of individuals, but also led to costly legal battles, according to the organization’s website. Even as the company pursued ever-bigger goals, it remained small at 11 employees.
