Reform UK Chairman Zia Yusuf has resigned from Nigel Farage’s right-wing populist party and said he doesn’t believe his role is “a valid use of my time.”

“11 months ago, I became the chairman of reform. I worked full-time as a volunteer to win a party of 14-30%, quadrupled its membership and submitted historic election results,” he wrote to X.

“I don’t believe that working to elect a reform government would make good use of my time and would resign from the office due to this.”

This is a developing story
